There are statutory rights to the public for inspection of the accounts, see: Provision for the Exercise of Public Rights 2025

When development occurs in a Parish the community may receive a portion of the Community Infrastructure Levy that developers have to pay to the County Council when they build new properties in the area.  The use of this money is carefully monitored to ensure that it is used to support infrastructure requirements that benefit the village as a whole, therefore annual reports need to be submitted.  Although Ashfield-cum-Thorpe has not received any CIL money, new regulations require nil returns to also be submitted, therefore the Ashfield-cum-Thorpe PC CIL Report for 2024-2025 report can be viewed by clicking on the link in blue.
